To participate in this contest, you need to simply write on your favorite topic! It can be any topic, as long as it is your favorite and you are comfortable in writing on that topic. You can write a poem, a story, a prose, a letter, a short writeup, a long writeup. You cannot write a quote or writeups exceeding 3,000 words. You can write in English, Hindi, Gujarati or Marathi. There is no other restriction relating to length of your writeup, theme or language.
For participating, you need to fill out a form giving your basic details, paying the contest fee and submitting your content. And yes, you can make multiple submissions, as many as you want by filling out a new form each time.
After your successfully fill out the form and complete your participation, you will receive an email confirming your participation. You need to pay the charges first, then you will be redirected to submission page. Once you successfully submit your content, it will be posted on our website and will be open for comments from general audience.
Your entry would be judged by Writersgram Team, which consists of our panel reviewers, editors and authors. It would be judged for its language, meaningfulness, completeness. The comments on your post will also be considered while judging the entry.
The submission period is from 28th October 2020 to 26th November 2020.
The entries would be reviewed and judged from 27th November 2020 to 25th December 2020.
The results would be announced on 15th January 2021
A winner trophy would be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd winner. (Winners would be overall and not language/ category wise)
A certificate of participation (hardcopy) would be given to all participants (it will be sent to the address you fill in the form). Top 21 writers would also be given a Certificate of Appreciation (Hardcopy)
The top 21 writers, alongwith top 3 winners would be invited to the Virtual Event for participation and recitation of their writeups that would be held in January 2021. (Depending upon the Covid Situation, a physical event might also be planned)
Top 3 winners would be given book publishing contract worth Rs. 25,000 each. (It will cover all aspects of publishing, including editing and marketing)
21 writers (not necessarily the top 21 as mentioned above) will be given an Audio Book Publishing Contract with us worth Rs. 1,000 each.
5 Writers would be given Merchandise Publishing (t-Shirts, Mugs & Notebooks) option with us worth Rs. 3,000 each.
